Jr. ERP Analyst / SQL Report Writer

We are seeking a Junior ERP Analyst / SQL Report Writer to join our team. We value the knowledge and educational experience the new ERP Analyst / SQL Report Writer will bring to the role and are also excited for an opportunity to work with an inquisitive team-oriented member.

As a member of a dedicated team, you will do more than just sit behind a desk and run reports; You will help drive change and efficiency throughout the plant and office. As a key resource to all members of the IT/IS team, will be responsible for maintaining the Fenevision ERP system data, configuration, report writing and documentation as well as providing user and functional support. You will be the primary contact for implementing all new parts, work centers, UOM’s, work routing categories and decommissioning obsolete processes and parts. You will manage the Standard Operating Procedures related to the system functionality and administer the iDashboard and Business Intelligence reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for correct use of Fenevision application.
• Conduct in-depth tests for modified and new systems or configurations within the ERP
• Preparing daily huddle presentation slides as per established work sharing schedules.
• Maintaining historical log of support initiatives from user identification through to resolution.
• Acting as a first level contact with Fenevision support team resolving concerns with application functionality.
• Assisting in the development and execution of test plan / implementation of post launch modules, configuration changes and service packs to Fenevision.
• Constantly evaluate processes through the lens of continuous improvement with the goal of eliminating waste and increasing efficiency (LEAN practices).
• Other duties as assigned by Leader.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Training)

• Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (i.e. BCIT Business IT / IS, Operations Management Program)
• Strong working experience with ERP Software (Fenevision is considered a strong asset).
• 1+ years of SQL Administration experience.
• 1+ years development experience in Visual Basic.
• Experience in a Manufacturing environment considered a strong asset.

Manufacturing Plant:

• Frequent, short periods when it is necessary to pay close attention to the monitoring of sights and sounds.
• Safety sensitive environment with mobile equipment and overhead cranes
• Physically demanding job may require one to stand for extended periods of time
