Some Of What You Will Do

The co-op placement will include challenges like:

• Understanding end-to-end workflows to be able to test and verify each step along the way and be able to simulate both “happy path” test flows and error scenarios
• How to integrate testing into automated build and deployment pipelines
• Developing automated test cases that can be executed autonomously to validate system level APIs and functionality

Some Of What You Need

• 0-3 years of relevant industry experience plus PhD, MS, or Undergrad in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Solid foundation in programming, data structures, and RESTful API concepts
• Experience developing production quality software, using test driven development, preferably on public cloud platforms (e.g.: AWS, Azure), using dotnet core or NodeJS
• Experience scripting and working on Linux systems. Familiarity with basic DevOps practices.
  

Desired Skills

• Experience working with API and test automation tools such as Postman or Selenium
• Understanding of asynchronous workflows and message-based processing using any standard Message Queue technology or pub/sub technology (Kafka, etc)
• Familiarity with Public Cloud and associated technologies (Azure preferred)
