Quality Health Safety and Environmental (QHSE) Manager Job in Fort McMurray, AB

Roevin is currently seeking a Quality Health Safety and Environmental (QHSE) Manager for current opportunities in Fort McMurray, AB. The HSEQ Manager will be responsible for leading a team of QHSE professionals and overseeing corporate health and safety, emergency response, disability management, training & development and quality (ISO). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years in a progressive senior safety leadership role(s). This is a full-time job opportunity and offers competitive salary and full benefits.

Quality Health Safety and Environmental (QHSE) Manager Job Responsibilities:

• Leads a team of health, safety, environmental, and quality professionals.

• Oversees corporate health and safety, emergency response, disability management, training & development and quality (ISO).

• Develop health and safety goals and strategies for the Company and all regulatory requirements

• Liaises with external vendors, contractors and clients, governmental entities, and community organizations.

• Provide guidance and leadership in the professional and career development of subordinates within HSE system.

Quality Health Safety and Environmental (QHSE) Manager Job Qualifications:

· Certified Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and Construction Safety Officer (CSO) designations in good standing.

· Minimum 10 years of dedicated health and safety experience, of which, 5 years must be in a progressive senior safety leadership role(s).

· Extensive knowledge and continuous learning in Alberta OHS legislation, standards, and practices, Alberta WCB, and Occupational Disability Management.

· Previous functional experience with the International Standards Organization (ISO) 9001 and 14001.
