Description

• Operate and monitor high speed equipment;
• Recognition of when things are out of spec or out of norm and being able to locate and follow reaction plans
• Ability and willingness to participate in troubleshooting activities as needed
• Able to work in a safe manner and follow all safety policies / procedures.
• Responsible for completing all required quality checks in an accurate and timely manner.
• Expected to strive for continuous improvement in all job functions and within the department.
• Expected to proactively assist co-workers to resolve production issues, and to ask for help when necessary.
• Record process data
• Help continuous improvement by following Key Performance Indicators
• Perform process quality control checks
• Execute industrial cleaning and sanitation
• Read, monitor and interpret performance metrics

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent;
• Ability to engage in physical activities and manual labor, as required, including but not limited to: prolonged standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling and bending;
• Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds;
• Ability to work varying shifts on weekends and/or holidays (days, afternoon, midnights, overtime);
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, etc.);
• Ability to follow health and safety rules and procedures ;
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
