Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, the Front Desk Agent acts as the guest experience representative for arrival & departure services (check-in/check-out), concierge services & direct-to-hotel reservations calls.

Key duties

  • Able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with minimum supervision.
  • Act as an ambassador for the hotel focusing on superior guest services.
  • Must have the ability to work various hours and shifts.
  • Take, cancel, and change room reservations.
  • Bilingual ( French/English) is an asset
  • Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and check out guests.
  • Process group arrivals and departures.
  • Accurately process guests’ departures and payments.
  • Post charges and payments to guest rooms and meeting rooms.
  • Balance cash float and daily cashier reports.
  • Act as a concierge, providing information to guests about hotel facilities, services, and points of interest in the area.
  • Provide night audit relief.
  • Other hotel-related duties as assigned.
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures.
  • 30-40 hours per week.
  • Previous front desk experience is an asset.
