The Financial Analyst, Controlling provides support, analysis and reports used for the planning, forecasting, controlling and reporting of the Vehicle Pricing and Product Configuration Process. This person will also be responsible for preparing account reconciliations on a monthly basis.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Collect, consolidate, and submit product-specific financial data to BMW AG for quarterly forecasts, annual budget, and long-range plan.
  • Prepare and promptly update profit summaries for all vehicle models.
  • Assist with profitability and product mix scenarios to align with BMW’s growth/profitability strategies.
  • Conduct monthly detailed reports analyzing base car/option profitability.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses as requested by senior associates.
  • Develop strong technical knowledge in financial planning and vehicle sales systems.
  • Compile and input all product-driven financial data into COPAS for quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range plans.

  • Assist in planning and monitoring of Motorrad activities and provide support on identified challenges and opportunities.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 3-5 years working experience in an Accounting/Finance/Controlling environment.
  • SAP experience is an asset.
  • Creative ability and thought process.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Well developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enrolled in a CMA, CA or MBA designation.
