As a seasoned Talent Acquisition professional, you will carry out sourcing and full recruitment needs alongside the Director, starting with a core understanding of our business and technology. You will be responsible for assisting the Executive Recruitment team to accomplish our collective goal of sourcing/recruiting professionals for all areas of our business within the Executive space.


You will be a true strategic talent partner to understand what is happening in and outside of the organization and bring forth information to the team to aid them to make better talent decisions. The successful candidate will leverage advanced recruitment techniques for current and future opportunities using advanced internet sourcing skills, database mining, networking and referrals and pure headhunting. You will be responsible to help develop and execute recruitment strategies for executive vacancies including initial research and planning, candidate identification and candidate assessments. You are expected to headhunt passive prospects and share our vision and journey for current and future hiring needs. The successful candidate will be confident in their ability to lead and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective partnerships at the executive level.


We are looking for someone who is:

  • Organized: able to manage multiple simultaneous projects and consistently hit deliverables on time and to agreed quality standards


Responsibilities:

  • Prepares target lists with recruiters and hiring managers and develops a sourcing strategy for each requisition and pipeline project
  • Sources, qualifies and presents candidates to Executives within McCain in partnership with the Director of Executive Recruitment
  • Both develops knowledge of current market place and trends and also conducts industry analysis & trends to better understand unique recruiting opportunities
  • Proactively reaches out to candidates in the market in order to pipeline needed skillsets
  • Makes initial candidate contact and builds relationships with prospects with the primary focus on lead generation and screening in order to develop their interest
  • Builds a robust network of top talent, gains market intelligence and assesses candidates to gauge talent alignment for a specific role or future opportunities
  • Responsible for developing innovative sourcing strategies for niche recruitment needs
  • Provides talent acquisition insights and recommendations using data analysis and market intel
  • Proactively keeps recruitment director informed on the executive landscape, expressing ideas, suggestions and timeliness
  • Drive strategies to connect people to our vision, mission, and values
  • Champion, evolve, and continuously invest in our culture to create and maintain an inspiring and diverse work environment for high-performing, self-starting professionals with a growth mindset


Capabilities:

  • Strong communication skills including written, oral and presentation
  • Strong organization skills
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently
  • Ability to build relationships, manage conflict and embrace change
  • Strong inter-personal skills including and ability to effectively articulate positions verbally and in written form


Requirements:

  • 8+ years’ experience in Talent Acquisition, specifically in a sourcing capacity supporting mid-executive level roles
  • Previous experience in a research and/or sourcing function
  • Experience working in the Executive space
  • Experience in using a variety of talent sourcing methodologies and techniques including; social networking channels & internet networking tools, such as LinkedIn
  • Experience with Boolean Search Strings
