Executive Director, Operational Performance & Integration
InnoTech Alberta is seeking a seasoned Executive Director, Operational Performance & Integration to work within our COO office. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO ), this role will lead the team in the execution and management of multiple initiatives that facilitate effective planning, operations, business integration, reporting, and issues management across the organization.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for leading the team in accomplishing the following, but not limited to:

Collaborating with the COO, operational leadership peers, & colleagues to develop and align sector strategies to InnoTech Alberta’s business plan and strategic objectives and understand business activities and issues, the effectiveness of corporate services, and identify opportunities to leaverage resources and remove roadblocks
Facilitating opportunities for cross-collaboration and sharing of resources to develop and deliver on integrated strategies
Providing advice and recommendations to inform strategic planning processes, service improvements and decision making to broaden and enhance InnoTech Alberta’s client relationship management experience
Overseeing the communication and delivery of InnoTech Alberta strategic mission, vision and plan
Providing direction to the team in the development of market intelligence and operational planning
Leading the development of people practices including tools and frameworks that improve workforce management practices and increase human capital resource utiliation.
Leading the development of operational framewords that improve organizational finance and operations maturity
Supporting the COO in leading organizational improvement and change management including leading initiatives, acting as a change agent, and supporting change management for organizational systems integration
Promoting the desired culture, values, and behaviors in alignment with the organization’s strategic plan

Qualifications and skills we are looking for:

A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration or a related discipline
A Master’s degree is preferred
10 or more years’ experience in progressively responsible business or corporate development roles
Demonstrated skill in establishing and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders, collaborating with executives, creative teams, and research and development
In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles, data analysis and performance/operation metrics
Experience managing transitions and organizational change with demonstrated skills leading people through transformational change
Demonstrated experience building and managing relationships with various stakeholder groups and generating respect and trust from a diverse group of stakeholders
Ability to foster collaboration and coalition building utilizing leadership, influencing, coaching, mentorship, and conflict management skills
Innovative and creative abilities
Strong business acumen including case development, and project management skills
Ability to lead strategic planning activities and identify, develop, and implement actions to support business plan objectives and translate strategic goals into tangible measures and targets
Strong financial acumen, organizational and analytical skills with ability to assess impacts of current events and issues on broader business activities and recommend appropriate actions
Sound judgement, problem solving skills and demonstrated ability making decisions with incomplete information
