Working together to provide essential services to communities across Western Canada, we are hiring two Engineer III, Projects on a temporary basis (2-year term with possible extension) at our CRC in Regina, SK.

What you’ll do:

You will carry out varied engineering assignments requiring general familiarity with a broad field of engineering and knowledge of reciprocal effects of the work upon other fields. Demonstrate practical understanding of fundamental engineering principles and apply them to problem solving activities, using established technical standards, interpretation of regulatory or codified requirements, and interpretation of industry best practices or standards.

  • Responsible for effectively managing the project from Pre-FEED to Commissioning and Start-up.
  • Work collaboratively with all the stakeholders, team members, senior management, project owner, project sponsor, etc. to deliver projects on schedule and on budget.
  • Work with Procurement and Construction Coordinator throughout different phases of the project to ensure project is completed in accordance with project strategy and schedule.
  • Manage and control project cost and schedule. Responsible for maintaining cost reports and cash flow for the project. Responsible for overall schedule of the project. Responsible for creating and updating “Project status” reports monthly.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts during all phases of the project while aligning with project goals and objective. Responsible for Risk management for the project.
  • Make decisions throughout the different phases of the project, utilizing professional and technical expertise, to ensure project is delivered safely, efficiently and meet stakeholder expectations.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Engineering & Engineering Technology and:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong acumen to manage projects ranging from $100K to $15M.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You have a minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
  • You are a Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng).
  • You’re honest and trustworthy, are results oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You believe in collaboration, building relationships and value the perspectives of others.
