  • Job duties:
  • Playing a leading role in compiling company budget and growth strategy.
  • Formulate annual operating plan with budgetary controls.
  • Executing strategies to optimize company and asset growth.
  • Drive sales and profitability across the company by developing a store specific strategy and executing the same through the store team.
  • Ensuring expertise and effectiveness across operating platforms.
  • Ensure standardization across stores in relation to brand touchpoints.
  • Monitor, review and ensure all KPIs of the store managers are met on on-going basis.
  • Creating strategies to challenge theft and stock losses and implementing initiatives to reduce company costs.
  • Responsible for continued growth of overall catering: Cost, Quality, Presentation, and Innovation.
  • Oversee all company telecommunication systems and support. Ensure that company is migrated toward technology offerings that will generate higher efficiency, enhanced reporting and tracking capabilities and substantial ROI.
  • Establish objectives for the company and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Appraise management performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
  • Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
  • Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses.
  • Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events.
  • Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g., discounts and social media ads).
  • Coach store managers to seek and continuously develop knowledge of competitor activity and local market conditions on enhancing store profitability.
  • Driving employees and leading performance reviews, to ensure an engaged and skilled workforce.
  • To ensure that all stores adhere to compliance requirements in all areas of operational activity, brand standards, company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that appropriate Sanitation, Maintenance and Safety Standards are followed
  • Collaborating with leadership to build an environment of collective responsibility and accountability.
  • Ensuring adherence to key performance objectives to meet business and customer expectations.
  • Represent the company, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the company, in negotiations or other official functions.

Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs; establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall personnel planning

Wage: CAD $42.51 per hour for 40 hours per week

  • WSET (Level One)
  • Strong ethical leadership abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Ability to make projections three years into the future.
  • Expertise in property management system like Opera Version 5.
  • In depth knowledge of Inventory management software such as Light speed Retail, Clover.

Proficient in Microsoft office suite.


  • Required education: A university degree or college diploma in business administration, finance or other discipline related to the service provided is preferred but not required.

Required work experience: 10 + years of experience in Hospitality/Hotel Operations
