Role: Risk Data Analyst

Duration:Permanent Full time

Salary:Negotiable, depending on experience

Location:100% Remote

Our client - leader in financial services is looking for a Risk Data Analyst to join their team on permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing data using statistical techniques and providing reports.
• Developing and implementing databases and data collection systems.
• Acquiring data from primary and secondary sources and maintain data systems.
• Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Creating reports, summaries, presentations and process documents to display results
• Collaborating with other team members to effectively analyze and present data.
• Developing systems and processes for gathering and storing data for future analytic
• (Datamart)
• Identifying economic and financial trends that may present a risk to the company
• Monitoring internal and external data points that may affect the risk level of a decision.
• Performing client onboarding assessment and provide recommendations from fraud risk
• Review clients’ credit and trading exposure to assess their credit limits and capital usage;
• Evaluating clients’ risk profile covering for fraud risk assessment and associate with Risk
• Modelling team to optimize the risk model parameters;
• Managing operational risks for asset security and transactional process and conduct risk control assessments to identify deficiencies and propose for remediation;
• Supporting the day-to-day fraud and money laundering risk identification, and ensure related to cryptocurrency, the blockchain, and our growing NFT
• Marketplace are executed effectively.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor Degree or above, major in Finance, Data Warehouse, Data Information Security or related major;
• At least 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst in a similar industry or related field (i.e Risk data analyst, Modeling Analyst)
• Strong knowledge of programming languages, such as SQL, Python and Tableau.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Visio and other analysis programs
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet daily deadlines for projects
• Critical thinking skills with the ability to independently solve problems with data
• Quantitative and analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to understand new analytical concepts
• Keen interest in digital currencies. Good communication skills, fast learner and a good team player.
