At Alliance Truss, we are currently on the lookout for an enthusiastic and results-driven individual to join our team as a Component Sales Representative in our Mission office in British Columbia. If you possess a passion for sales, a flair for creative marketing, and exceptional interpersonal skills, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Provide quotes, preparation of sales order forms, and assist with Request for Proposals
- In collaboration of sales team, build a network of referrals to generate new revenue opportunities including cold-calls
- Research market data using sales management software tools to maximize sales efficiency
- Stay informed about new products, services, and competitor activities through ongoing research
- Collect customer feedback and work towards improving product and service quality
- Participate in marketing activities, such as conferences, trade shows, and open-house events
- Ensure accuracy in all transactions, inventory, and procedures
- Participate in site maintenance activities
- Assist in doing take-offs, quantifying materials, and preparing quotes
Qualifications
- University of college degree in in sales and marketing, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- High school diploma followed by experience in the construction materials industry will be considered
- Minimum of 2 years in construction sales or equivalent design experience
- Sound knowledge of panel component products/services
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals and objectives
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proficient in using basic programs such as Windows, MiTek management

Base Salary $70,000 to $75,000
