Responsibilities

• Intakes, investigations, Child and Family protection, counseling, family support, crisis intervention, case management, after-hours on-call services (on a rotation basis), program planning, and other various social work duties

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work from an accredited university
• Member in good standing of the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers (NBASW)
• Child protection experience preferred but not required
• Prior knowledge of First Nations in New Brunswick and an understanding of specific challenges about FN communities
• Must maintain strict confidentiality on and off duty
• Must be willing to work after-hour emergency on-call services on a rotation basis.
• must be responsible, Reliable, non-judgmental, work collaboratively, have critical thinking skills, etc.
