The Opportunity

The Opportunity

Our Delta, BC location is currently looking for experienced Chemical Field Technician/Driver that is responsible for driving to customer sites to segregate/package waste into drums/pails and then load for safe transport. The Field Chemist will work with our computer systems to ensure that the proper information has been submitted so that waste can be routed safely throughout the disposal network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Assisting with daily lab packs within customer facilities;
  • Loading, packaging and segregation of materials and waste products;
  • Entering information in computer system to ensure material is tracked and correctly dispose of.
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
  • Chemistry background preferred but not required, previous hazardous waste experience is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
  • 1+ year of previous experience applying chemical experience in the field;
  • Minimum valid Class 5 driver’s license required;
  • Proficient in Windows-based applications
