DESCRIPTION:

Full-time and part-time cardiac sonographers wanted to join our new team.
The successful candidate(s) will work alongside two devoted, present, and passionate cardiologists (including a level-3 echocardiographer) that will be invested in your education, success, and growth. This position is intended to be career-focused, with growth and advancement if desired. Our philosophy is to foster a collaborative, low-pressure and friendly work atmosphere. LOCATION, UNIT, AND EQUIPMENT:

Our clinic is situated in the south end of Barrie, Ontario and located conveniently off the 400 with free parking and public transit at the doorstep. The unit is brand-new, custom-built, modern and on the first floor of a new medical building. The latest equipment and software will be utilized with full integration for a seamless experience so that you can focus on what you are trained to do.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Successful completion of an accredited Echocardiography training program in Canada, or working towards it
• Credentialing from the American Registry of Medical Diagnostic Sonographers (ARMDS)/equivalent agency, or working towards it
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified

DUTIES:

• Performing standard transthoracic echocardiograms, including ultrasound-enhanced (contrast) studies
• Obtain intravenous access for contrast or bubble studies as appropriate Performing stress echocardiography
• Generating preliminary reports

START DATE:ASAP and flexible
FULL-TIME HOURS:40 hours per week
PART-TIME HOURS: 24-40 hours per week
