Bookkeeper Role in Burlington

Do you have experience with the accounting process? Are you an individual who enjoys working with a small team, and can manage financial processes from start to finish? If so, this is the opportunity for you!

We are currently recruiting for a Bookkeeping role in the Burlington area for a full time, fully in office, permanent position. Daily tasks include: journal entries, tax returns, record keeping, accounts payable and receivable coverage, corresponding with the customer service and teams as well as other internal departments, and other duties as required. The ideal candidate will be someone who has a great work ethic, is highly organized, has effective time management skills, and works well in a team setting.

  • $50,000 - $55,000 per annum based on experience
  • Full time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00 pm with a 1 hour lunch
  • Fully in office role

  • Subledger reconciliation
  • Invoicing

Coverage of and assisting with:
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Collection calls
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Electronic cheque deposits

Qualifications

Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of experience with full cycle accounting
  • Experience with an a comprehensive understanding of the full accounting cycle
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual in French and English is an advantage
