Epic Homes is growing and we are looking for a Accounts Payable Clerkto join our team to help us with our new 700 home master-planned community in Maple Ridge.

In this role, you will help take the lead in helping to process invoices and pay the trades, suppliers and professionals that make our projects a reality. With an opportunity to have a significant impact on the projects you work on, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Manage incoming mail with vendor invoices, statements and inquiries
• Match, verify coding, process vendor invoices and progress draws and manage approval timelines
• Prepare by-monthly payment batches
• Reconcile vendor statements with company accounts payable records
• Answer vendor queries in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain accounts payable filing system
• Manage utility accounts including rebate
• Manage WorkSafeBC and insurance compliance for all vendors

Who you are? The ideal candidate will possess our core values above with the following qualifications and/or skill set:

• Passion for shaping community, collaborating with teams and building relationships
• 1-2 years of Accounts Payable experience in a similar role
• Extremely detail-oriented
• Ability to prioritize and organize responsibilities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Ability to write, research and analyse data
• MS Office Skills – Excel and Outlook
• Experience with Sage 300 and/or Timberscan is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
