Our company is currently seeking an experienced Accountant to work closely with our executive staff to identify and determine tax obligations, perform general ledger activities and analyze financial records. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to utilize Excel to create complex spreadsheets, and will have thorough knowledge of accounting practices and rules.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Record financial transactions.
• Look for ways to lower the cost of doing business.
• Maintain and update financial records.
• Analyze data gathered from the field to help management make sound business decisions.
• Daily payment gateway maintenance by matching sales representatives.
• Monitor company’s financial performance.
• Communicate with sales teams, suppliers, and management to resolve any discrepancies or issues with financial transactions.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting and financial background, DEC or equivalent education in accounting.
• Experience with Excel a must, experience with QuickBooks an asset.
• Experience with accounting software in travel field is an asset.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong work ethic, energetic, and passionate.
• Knowledge of the principles of accounting procedures.
• Ability to work with a high level of autonomy as well as in a team environment.
• Mandarin and / or Cantonese language fluency is required.
