The Opportunity

PROJECT MANAGER, VANCOUVER

Responsibilities And Requirements Include, But Are Not Limited To

Aragon is seeking a Project Manager for upcoming projects. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, is highly motivated, hands on, and works well in a team environment.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget
  • Early review of project drawings for constructability, value engineering, coordination, and quality assurance
  • Plan and prepare construction schedules, milestones and monitor progress against established schedules
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
  • Develop and implement quality control programs
  • Represent company on matters such as business services and contract negotiation
  • Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to senior management and owner
  • Supervise activities of subcontractors and mentor subordinate staff
  • Prepare scopes of work and work closely with project coordinators to ensure tendering schedule timeline is established and achieved
  • Compliance with company policies and jurisdictional authorities including adherence to codes, bylaws, safety standards is required
Must have 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager.
