About Our Client

Our client is an established real estate developer based in South Western Ontario. The company develops elaborate and intricate industrial and commercial building projects across the GTA.

They are a leader in the development of industrial sites and are well-regarded as a product of their attention to detail and consistency.

Job Description

  • Support Project Manager in establishing Preconstruction in Progress (PIP) form, KPI’s and monthly updates.
  • Responsible for assisting the Project Assistant in administrative project set-up and establishing document controls under the direction of the Project Manager
  • Assist with preconstruction planning activities including: look ahead schedules, HSE, Procurement, Construction Logistics and Project Execution Planst
  • Resolving issues impacting project timelines
  • Meeting with stakeholders to provide project updates and managing any changes in specifications
  • Overseeing safe work practices and establishing new safety standards

The Successful Applicant

  • 2-3 years experience in the construction industry
  • architectural and construction post-secondary background
  • Capable of reading and understanding construction drawings and documents.
  • Knowledge of and experience working with BIM, AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Excellent knowledge of contracts, industry practices and work codes. * Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision.
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting knowledge.
  • Ability to manage and facilitate numerous projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, self-dedicated, and results oriented.
