We have several exciting positions to be working as a production technician in a medical production facility.

Description:

The production technician operates on a production line where you are manufacturing blood cartridges used for rapid blood tests.

As a production technician your roles and responsibilities will be:

• You will need to observe how the printing is done on the cartridge (is it being produced in the correct manner).
• This job requires intense focus as these cartridges are used for critical care and hospital use.
• You will need to learn automated printing and labelling for regulated product (this will be a part of your training)
• Quality control is very important as it is on you morally to ensure that these blood cartridges are produced up to grade. These blood analyzers are in high demand for critical care and intensive care units so ensuring proper manufacturing can be the difference between life and death for patients.
• There will be documentation. Every time that there is a change or abnormality, it is your responsibility to document and analyze the abnormality. (this will be taught to you in training.

Pay:

• $18.75-21.65/hour

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• You will need to be able to stand for long periods of time while maintaining intense focus.
• Someone with experience in production, food preparation and food handling, and medical and health care will be best suited for this role.
