Our business is growing rapidly and we’re now looking for an experienced Production Team Lead to join our team! As a Production Team Leadyou will lead a small team delegating tasks, training new employees, ensuring jobs are completed, and motivating team members to achieve our production goals!

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Leading a small team, delegating tasks, training new employees, ensuring jobs are completed and motivating members to achieve production goals
  • Ensuring quality of work/product meets Company standards by performing line checks, preparing production reports, printing labels, problem-solving, and coordinating with QA and Production Supervisors
  • Participate in routine production activities and ensure the quality of work/product meets company standards by taking appropriate actions
  • Familiarity with equipment and a proven track record of following policy & procedures
  • Follow and adhere to all given instructions including work procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Adhering to and ensuring others are following Company safety policies, work procedures, food sanitation standards, and cleaning practices
  • Setting up equipment, changing over products, and maintaining a clean working environment
  • Scheduling and coordinating staff breaks
  • Communicate with appropriate stakeholders about production updates, requests, issues, breakdowns, and more
  • Act as a liaison between team and Supervisors


NICE-TO-HAVE

  • Available to work flexible shifts, holidays, and weekends, and be on-call, as the job requires
  • Experience working in a food or beverage manufacturing environment preferred
  • Prior experience as an Equipment Operator in manufacturing would be ideal
