Production Supervisor

• Our Production supervisors are responsible for the execution of the production plan, sustaining 5S activities, maintaining a safe workplace, and all activities involved within their assigned area.

• Supervise day-to-day activities of direct reports
• Implement and manage 5S activities including monthly audits
• Ensure all safety regulations are being followed and monthly safety audits are performed
• Ensure all ISO quality procedures are being followed. ie FIFO and Product Identification
• Ensure all pre use inspections are being performed
• Perform cross training within group and keeps training records current.
• Identify resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
• Ensure high quality and timely production of all deliverables
• Provide direction and supervision of employees
• Provide and perform performance evaluations to employees
• Serve as the primary contact and ensure appropriate liaison with all departments including Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Quality and Sales
• Ensure employees follow standard work times.

• Post-secondary degree or min 3 years supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment
• Mechanically Inclined preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Leadership, self-confidence, motivation, decisiveness, flexibility, sound business judgment, and determination skills are all needed
• Ability to multitask while under pressure
• Ability to read blueprints
• Computer skills
• Ability to work overtime if required
