We are looking for Production Supervisor (Day Shift).Join our team at our brand-new electronics manufacturing facility located in Bristol Circle, Oakville. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm position with nearby public transportation and onsite parking, extended health benefits and retirement group savings plan.

Responsibilities Include:

· Supervise Team Leaders and assembly personnel and ensure Work Orders execution in designated area of responsibility.

· Provide technical support for daily operations, proactively calling out potential equipment, jigs, and tools issues and shortages and report to Lead Supervisor and Process Engineering on any issues with Machine Downtime, preventive maintenance, and calibration.

· Ensure production consumables and other materials are on safety stock and highlight requirement to purchase to Lead Supervisor, as necessary.

· Audit accuracy of Work Instructions / SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), highlight to the Manufacturing Process Engineer if WI / SOP needs to be updated.

· Control execution of the Work Orders as assigned by the Lead Supervisor and deliver it on time.

· Coordinate NPI activities on production floor and manage activities according to the required schedule.

· Control implementation of Engineering Changes, perform First-Off inspections and Process FAI (First Article Inspection).

· Control and coordinate Prototype and Sales Samples assembly on production floor.

· Reports to the Lead Supervisor any discrepancy of Bill of Material vs printed Work Orders.

· Coordinates/Communicate to shipping/logistics for every order that are packed and ready to ship.

· Conduct performance reviews of the Team Leaders.

· Train, mentor, and coach Teams Leaders / Members and perform their duties when required.

· Identify and proactively act to close knowledge gaps between direct reports, implement training programs.

· Perform employees cross-training within the Teams.

· Perform data entry into ERP system, report NCRs and scrap / rework in the system.

· Implementation of assigned CAPA, Manufacturing Audit’s nonconformances and Quality Alerts.

· Coordinate and implement CI initiatives as requested by Lead Supervisor.

· Monitor Team’s compliance to Work Instructions and Procedures and take ultimate responsibility for the manufacturing quality of the products.

· Report any quality nonconformances to Quality Team and Lead Supervisor, coordinate Quality Inspections and Testing.

· Monitor and control scrap and rework during assembly process.

· Implement Safety Policies, ensure PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is always available for and used by Team when required.

· Implement 5S on the area of responsibility.

· Control implementation of Safety Audit findings, proactively notify Lead Supervisor or EHS Coordinator on potential safety issues.

Qualifications:

· At least 2-years of Production Supervisory experience in an Assembly Process production line.

· Knows how to speak Russian or Ukrainian language is a plus.
