• Description:*
• The individual will be responsible for daily task planning on the shop floor.
• They will be helping the shop floor leader plan his day: what needs to be replanned, what wa not complete, what needs to be pushed out etc.
• Will be working with about 1000 SKU (on a day where production quality is faltering).
• Some parts that they may be working with are related to anything on an airplane, more related to interiors. This will be for the global aircraft. (5500, 6500)
• They will be following up with the internal team: e.g. procurement will take care of vendor issues
• They are the liaisons between quality and the shop floor.
• Team lead and the supervisor, they will be working closely with.
• The individual will be looking at all non-quality that needs to be revised and then added to the plan.
• Certification paperwork to be done: making sure they have everything in hand for BOIs (break of inspections, snags, non-quality/nonconformance reports. They will need to identify for example: how many BOIs are open, whats closed, whats in process
• When the ircraft is transferring from one station to the other, they need to make sure everything has been complete, no audits or snags .
• They will likely be working with internal softwares and tools: using HMS a non quality tool for compliance. They will also use SAP.
• Daily meetings taking place: DMM (with production, where do we stand for every airplane)
• Will be working with a dashboard: internal systems. This is going to be indicating and visualizing their daily tasks. It is shared interface with the shop floor.
• Must haves:*
• Bilingual (The shop floor individuals will be communicating and liaising with union workers).
• Experience on a production shop floor
• Excel (pivot tables, vlookups)
• ERP Systems
• 1+ years of planning experience in a shop floor/Manufacturing environment.
• Assets:*
• Aerospace experience
• Oracle/Sage/SAP
