Are you our next Team Member?

SeedMaster is currently seeking an innovative, results oriented Production Engineer.

The Production Engineer works to maintain and improve production processes throughtout the facility. You will cooridinate with the engineering and production department to ensure quality products are produced efficiently. Engineering aptitude, high attention to detail and the ability to optimize processesses are necessary skills to bring designs to production.

What will you be working on?

  • Develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality, and reliability
  • Design jigs/fixtures and procedure for proper usage to ensure high quality products are produced
  • Review, evaluate and improve upon engineering documentation and procedures
  • Creation and maintenance of manufacturing bill of materials
  • Investigate problems, analyze root causes, and derive resolutions while promoting a culture of continuous improvement
  • Other duties as assigned

What is required for this role?

  • Engineering degree or diploma in related field
  • 5+ years direct work experience
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks is required
  • Meticulous attention to detail; strong mechanical background with focus on manufacturing methods and procedures
  • Experience with steel fabrication, manufacturing processes and machine design
  • Strong problem identification and resolution skills
  • Practical experience with jig/fixture design and implementation
