The Production Assistant helps in various jobs throughout the shop. Duties include cleaning, organizing, maintenance and assisting in all production areas as assigned.

What You’ll Do

- Cleaning and tidying of the shop, including sweeping, garbage collection and disposal, etc.;
- Cleaning and maintenance of facility exterior such as windows and sidewalks;
- Cleaning and maintenance of back and front parking lot areas;
- General building maintenance including minor repairs and painting;
- Build pallets and crates for shipping;
- Assist in packaging product in preparation for shipment;
- Assist the laser department in removing parts;
- Assist the brake department lifting and bending parts;
- Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.

What You Bring

- Can do attitude, willing to learn;
- Customer service focused with a positive attitude;
- Mechanically inclined with good attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Must be able to frequently move, push, pull, lift or carry heavy objects up to 50 lbs, must be in good physical condition.

Hours of Work: Full Time, Monday to Friday, Day time hours.

Hourly Wage: depending on qualifications and experience.
