Job Brief

Support quality, training and application support for initiation systems for a 6 - 8 week period.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will support quality, training and application support for initiation systems for a 6 - 8 week period. Some duties will include:

  • Promote, foster and demand an environment of Zero Harm through coaching and leading by example – SAFETY as the NUMBER 1 PRIORITY!
  • Working conditions are primarily outdoors in all weather conditions of temperature and climate.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with both internal and external customers to successfully meet objectives and add value for customers.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable HSEQ Performance Standards
  • Proactively work to achieve compliance with safety systems
  • Maintain the highest standards of presentation and professionalism.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement initiatives to improve process efficiencies.
  • Perform other tasks as required to achieve the overall safety, profitability and business goals of the organization.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Field mining experience is preferred.
  • General knowledge / understanding of blasting including drilling, regulatory, safety, product application and training preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and familiarity with working in remote environment
  • Ability to problem solve, troubleshoot and communicate effectively is essential.
  • Previous quality assurance experience helpful.
  • Ability to physically travel and get in and out of trucks in remote locations and wear protective equipment where required
  • Must be willing to undergo and pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
