Are you a paper machine clothing expert looking to jump into sales?At Valmet, Product Sales Managers are responsible for maintaining the constructive business relationships with our customers by facilitating the diagnosis of production processes and understanding the performance problems related to products sold or services rendered. We are currently looking for a paper machine clothing expert that will be able to showcase Valmet diverse portfolio of solutions to the customers and provide technical support on the paper machines, which include application specification, inspection, installation, inventory and consignment analysis.In this role, you will be actively involved in sales presentations, customer negotiations, creating proposals and coordination of communications. Your focus will be on selling Valmet’s offerings while also technically supporting our portfolio of premium products. As an integrated member in the North American Sales Team, you will help establish and maintain crucial customer relationships in Eastern Canada.Requirements

• Collegial or University degree combined with 2 to 5 years related technical experience in various positions as machine engineer, process manager, paper mill operations, maintenance management or service supplier to the industry; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• This position will have responsibility in areas covering Eastern Canada and could be subject to change depending on the evolution of our business.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills (French and English)
• Ability to work and function independently
• The candidate should be located in the Montreal, Trois-Rivieres or Sherbrooke areas; other locations will be strongly considered; or has the ability to relocate to these same areas.
