About The Role

We’re looking for a Procurement Contract Administrator to join our growing team!

As a Contract Administrator, you are at the heart of the Procurement team supporting Third Party Contract Administration, drafting, Compliance and protect the company against risk exposure.

You will demonstrate a strong attention to detail. You will review and update existing contracts; you explain terms and conditions to interested parties. You stay up-to date with legislative changes and coordinate with the legal department as needed. You will ensure all our contracts conform to the legal requirements, process integrity, and meet our Policy objectives.

Our ideal candidate has previous experience managing contracts and is familiar with legal requirements and terms of use.

Workplace:Anjou (7101, Jean-Talon St E), Montreal (2020, Robert-Bourassa), St-Hyacinthe (2450, Girouard W St), Toronto (700, University Ave), Calgary (321, 1200 6 Ave SW) or Vancouver (999, Hastings St W).

Here Are a Few Ways You’ll Make a Difference
  • Monitor contract lifecycle (perpetual, fixed, auto-renew) in accordance with established corporate governance and appropriate support from cross-functional experts, business partners, and Procurement;
  • Evaluate appropriate contractual hierarchy framework, drafting of amendments and pre-approved legal templates and contract administration throughout the contract lifecycle;
  • Identify and raise contract and Third-Party Vendor risks while supporting business requirements and improving shareholder value;
  • Propose sections for better contractual strategies;
  • Ensure standardisation of contract and enhancement;
  • Nurture cross-functional relationships and network with business partners, peers and leaders across multiple functions, divisions and geographic locations;
  • Support the implementation of all procurement continuous improvement projects.
  • Employ a risk-based approach to determine the applicable security and legal requirements applicable to each relationship with a Third-Party Vendor in accordance with established corporate governance;
Qualifications

Your skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, finance, professional designation such as CPP considered an asset, or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of strategic sourcing principles along with the ability to apply this knowledge to execute projects, drafting and optimize strategies.
  • Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts.
  • Excellent writing skills and communication skills.
  • Strong excel and analytical skills in critical thinking, decision making, problem solving, and attention to detail.
