The Opportunity

Accountable/responsible for providing a high level of customer service in support of the business of service and parts sales to the market and expediting internal parts service requests while maximizing productivity and proficiency to meet targets

The Role
  • Responsible for day-to-day processing of parts orders for internal and external customers, including entering, ordering and expediting purchase orders
  • Support service technicians in researching, sourcing, expediting and delivering parts requests to work area
  • Works with customers in person, via telephone, or electronically in a timely and courteous manner; delivers strong service and salesmanship on the phone order desk and front counter parts sales
  • Produces accurate, timely and efficient estimates and documentation for all parts transactions
  • Covers and/or assists warehouse person in tracking or shipping product to both local and out-of-town customers and inter-branch locations
  • Initiates parts returns for both new and warranty items and completes all required documentation
  • Operates in a safe manner and keeps work area clean and tidy at all times
The Candidate
  • Education: Parts Technician experience considered an asset
  • Work Experience: 2 years of relevant work experience. Previous experience in heavy duty parts / service industry considered an asset.
  • Knowledge: Experience working with parts vendors, outsourcing and generating parts quotes
  • Proficiency: Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
