What You Will Do:

• Operate overhead crane to receive, move, and ship materials within the facility

• Properly store materials

• Assist co-workers as required

• Train personnel on safe crane operation

• Drive company truck where necessary in plant

• Ensure all employees and visitors are wearing required personal protective equipment

• Follow AOT procedures for shipping and receiving

• Work in a safe manner

• Follow 5S+1 Lean Manufacturing guidelines

• Shift work required

Position Details:

• Permanent

• Full-time

• Shift rotates every 3-4 weeks between day and afternoon shift (night shift may be required dependent on business conditions)

• Weekends may be required dependent on business conditions

Minimum Qualifications:

• Fork-lift, overhead crane, rigging, or mobile crane course/ticket considered an asset

• Organized, flexible and able to multi-task

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Reliable

• Able to read, write and effectively communicate in English

• Ability to work independently

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

• Pre-employment testing including drug & alcohol, vision, auditory, background check and physical demands assessment required upon hire

• Must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours/day
