PRIMARY FUNCTION

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Order Picker-Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking orders and operating a forklift to move, stack, and organize products within our warehouse facility. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to safety.

JOB DUTIES AND TASKS

1. Order Picking:

• Retrieve products from designated storage areas based on pick lists or orders.
• Verify product codes, quantities, and lot numbers to ensure accuracy.
• Package and prepare orders for shipment according to company procedures and shipping requirements.

2. Forklift Operation:

• Operate a forklift to safely move, stack, and organize products within the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks, pallets, and other containers as needed.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor.

3. Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, locations, and movements.
• Assist with cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and other inventory-related tasks as assigned.

4. Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
• Operate equipment and machinery in compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and other relevant safety standards.

5. Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with warehouse team members and other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and other stakeholders to coordinate workflow and resolve issues as needed.

6. All other related duties/tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, including order picking and forklift operation.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25kg.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and inventory management.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
