The Opportunity...
4-8 months term: May 2024 to Aug 2024 or May 2024 to Dec 2024
What will you do in this role?
Lumentum is seeking an enthusiastic NPI Supplier Chain Analyst (Co-op Student / Intern) to join the Global Supply Chain organization that supports the Transport BU in Ottawa Ontario. During your internship you will work closely with NPI Supply Chain PMs and Planners, learning and contributing to the flawless execution of part parameter setups, material planning and build preparation during the NPI phase of programs. In addition to supporting an NPI program(s) you may have the opportunity to support some key initiatives / internal projects within NPI Supply chain or processes and procedures updates.
What experience will allow you the greatest success in this role?
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical and good problem-solving abilities
  • Detail orientated and organized
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented
  • Team player
  • Previous experience working with ERP/MRP or PLM systems
Recommended Education:
  • 3rd or 4th year: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics or Engineering.
