- Manage the plant’s IT assets in accordance with Siemens IT policies;
- Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of the various computer servers;
- Fix operational problems and optimize network and equipment performance;
- Provide level 2 IT support and receive user service requests, initiate and document incident management, and assist users in problem solving;
- Manage and participate in projects to implement new IT tools;
- Participate in projects to implement new production equipment;
- Promote the continuous improvement of procedures and processes within the department and the company.
- Three years’ experience in a similar position;
- College degree in computer science or related field;
- Professional training in Microsoft networking;
- MCSE certification, a strong asset
- Experience working in a manufacturing/Plant environment, an asset
- Ability to work within a team, collaborative spirit and strong ability to manage priorities;
- Proven diligence, resourcefulness, and determination;
- Excellent communication skills, and strong problem solving skills;
- Customer focused (service and availability);
- Excellent knowledge of French (spoken and written);
- Excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written).
