Position Title: Network Administrator

Location: Whitehorse, YT (Onsite with remote rotation)

Overview:

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Network Administrator in Whitehorse, YT starting mid-May 2024. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of Network Admin experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Network infrastructure, including Cisco Routers and Switches, Access Point (i.e., CISCO 9120) and Palo Alto Firewalls. Previous experience providing network support to end user and collaborating with 3rd party vendors on network projects would be a great asset. Location: Whitehorse, YT (Onsite with remote rotation). Flights and accommodations will be provided. Term: Three (3) months.

Qualifications and Experience:

· 7+ years of Network Admin experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Network Cisco Routers and Switches, Access Point and Palo Alto Firewalls.

· Experience providing day to day network support to end users.

· Experience supporting network projects and collaborating with 3rd party vendors on network projects.

· Experience configuring networking protocols, i.e., VLANs, BGP, TCP/IP, DHCP.

· Experience troubleshoots network issues and resolve connectivity problems.

· Experience documenting network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

· Education: Active industry certifications, (i.e., CCNA, CCNP) would be an asset.

· Excellent communication (written and verbal) in English is required.

· Candidates must be able to work in Whitehorse, YT. Flights and accommodations will be provided.

· Must be authorized to work in Canada.
