Your profile

• Must be a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th-year apprentice
• Experience with strip/rebuild of rotating mechanicalequipment, knowledgeable function of associated equipment and auxiliarysystems.
• Carry out the mechanical duties involved with disassembly,inspection, maintenance repair and reassembly for Siemens Energy OEM productlines of steam and gas turbines and compressors.
• Must hold valid driver’s license and passport
• Red Seal Journeyman Millwright/Machinist certificate withhigh interest to work with hand tools independently or with a crew, andphysical ability to lift up to 20 kgs
• Maintain and utilize tooling, equipment and able to operateLathe, Milling and Horizontal Boring Machine.
• Read and understand technical drawings and publications andability to make accurate calculations
  
  

Your Responsibilities

• Responsible to execute mechanical millwright/machinist workunder the leadership of a Siemens Energy Leadhand, Technician orRepresentative.
• Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority bycomplying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and report allnear misses and incidents to EHS Management
• Provide clear and concise data to be added to technicalreporting and accurately record information into appropriate datasheets
