Reports to Mill Electrical/Instrumentation General Foreman

This position is located in (Rocanville, Saskatchewan, Canada) and not available for remote work.

What you will do:

• Maintain safe working conditions for electrical maintenance
• Surface electrical maintenance including milling equipment and repairs in case of emergency electrical breakdowns
• Supervise the installation of all new electrical equipment, solid-state starters, transformers etc.
• Guide a team of electricians; plan employees’ work and direct the work force
• Maintain current knowledge of the Collective Agreement, Company Rules, Policies, and Government Laws and Regulations

What you will bring:

• Electrical Journeyperson certificate or relevant engineering degree
• Positive Safety behavior and safety guidance
• 3 -5 years of experience in electrical maintenance or construction
• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems in the mining industry would be an asset
• A high degree of up-to-date technical knowledge is required
• Ability to provide instruction, observe work practices, evaluate performance, provide feedback and guidance
• Good communication, interpersonal and organization skills
• Ability to develop and apply a systemic approach to maintenance
