THE ROLE

As a Manager of Quality Assurance, you will play a key role in software development projects:
  • Leading the team of Software Quality Assurance analysts.
  • Identifying resources, training, and other needs for the team.
  • Planning long and short-term activities and providing guidance on team day to day activities.
  • Analyzing requirement specifications and other PLC documentation.
  • Working closely with Product Management, Software Development, Risk, UX, and Project Management to gather input.
  • Working closely with regulatory to ensure compliance with the applicable regulations and standards.
  • Designing and execute test cases, procedures, and protocols.
  • Verifying the correct implementation of Varian medical software products.
  • Evaluating test results and ensuring discrepancies are reported to the stakeholders.
  • Monitoring team performance and workload.
  • Providing project effort and duration estimates and status.
  • Managing team conformance to design controls and reviewing project deliverables.
  • Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Wide-ranging experience using professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
  • Ability to effectively manage priorities under time pressure.
  • The combination of relevant University or College education, training, and experience.
  • Proficiency in using software testing, development, and lifecycle management tools.
  • Proficiency in utilizing business tools such as e-mail, MS Office, and others.
  • The candidate will have a desire to continually develop professionally and strive for growth for self and for the team members.
