Job Type: Full-time - Working remotely due to COVID-19 guidelines.

Position Summary:
The Medical Education Specialist will work with clients from the life sciences industry to deliver customized training via our ACTO Omnichannel platform. The Medical Education Specialist will be a part of ACTO’s Services Team.

In this role you will:
  • Organize client content libraries and map resources based on relevant clinical and product-related information.
  • Develop scientific content in the form of microlearning modules, summaries, assessments, coaching scenarios, and other industry-related content for small, mid, and enterprise-level life sciences companies.
  • Collaborate in the design and development of content for live, online, and other training programs and initiatives.
  • Assist in the documentation of quality control reviews of project deliverables.
  • Communicate with the client on all matters relating to content organization and development.
  • Update Implementation Specialist, Project Manager, or Coordinator on project progress, pending action items, and/or foreseen challenges.
  • Follow FDA & Health Canada regulations and requirements to ensure projects remain compliant.
  • Identify areas for improvement in established SOPs and share feedback with the Medical Education team (during and after project completion).
Job Specific Qualifications & Experience:
  • Must have a minimum of an M.Sc. in Pharmacology, Biology, or other Life Sciences / Health Sciences subject area. Degrees such as M.D., DDS/DMD, and Ph.D. are preferred.
  • Previous experience in medical writing or reviewing/editing of scientific content.
  • Previous e-learning instructional design and functional testing experience are beneficial.
  • Exceptional grammar/editorial skills.
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Reader).
