Role Description

This is a contract role for a Marketing Intern at Bix Co Events Inc. As a Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for assisting with market research, creating marketing strategies, Google and Instagram Ads. You will also support the sales team in promoting our entertainment services.

This is an on-site role located in Woodbridge, ON.

Job Summary:

As a Marketing Specialist at Bix Co Events Inc, you will leverage Google’s marketing tools to develop and implement strategies that increase event visibility, drive ticket sales, and maximize attendee engagement. Your role will involve creating, managing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns primarily using Google Ads, Google Analytics, and other Google platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Google Ads Campaign Management
    • Develop, execute, and optimize Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Video) to promote events and increase attendance.
    • Perform detailed keyword research to identify and target high-potential search terms.
    • Write compelling ad copy and design landing pages optimized for conversion.
    • Monitor campaign performance and adjust bids, keywords, and strategies to ensure high ROI.

    2.Digital Marketing Strategy Development

    • Create comprehensive digital marketing strategies using Google tools to reach target audiences effectively.
    • Conduct market research to understand event industry trends and identify key demographics.
    • Design and implement multi-channel digital marketing plans, including SEO, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
    • Set and track KPIs to measure the success of marketing initiatives.

    3.Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

    • Implement SEO best practices to enhance the organic search visibility of event pages.
    • Conduct on-page and off-page SEO audits and implement necessary improvements.
    • Use Google Search Console to monitor website performance and resolve any issues impacting search rankings.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, specifically with Google Ads and Google Analytics.
    • Proven track record of managing successful Google Ads campaigns and achieving high ROI.
    • Strong understanding of SEO and experience using Google Search Console.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies.
    • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Experience or interest in market research
    • Knowledge of sales principles and techniques
    • Understanding of marketing strategies
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
    • Knowledge of the wedding and events industry is a plus
    • Relevant coursework or degree in Marketing or related field
