Marketing Sales Support Specialist

Description:
Permanent Full Time

    Reporting to the Assistant Manager, LifeLine, you would be responsible for providing special quotes, inforce illustrations, competitive information and concept support to wholesalers, advisors, and clients.

    Accountabilities:
    • Provide Term, UL and Par special quote support for all distribution channels producing life insurance illustrations and facilitating exception requests on a case by case basis
    • Working with our Microsoft Excel based special illustration models to complete the requests
    • Organize workflow requests in order to ensure efficiency amongst the team
    • Manage queries from the field, to determine when other department involvement is required
    • Communicate product/illustration issues on the phone with advisors and handle escalations from Sr Management.
    • Meet tight deadlines and appropriate service standards
    • Support other requests as required

    Required Competencies and Behaviours:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Strong customer-service skills
    • Ability to coordinate work involving multiple time-sensitive deadlines while meeting service targets
    • Knowledge of life insurance products and features
    • Knowledge of how the separate distribution channels function would be an asset
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel would be an asset
    • Bilingual would be an asset (English and French)

      The base salary for this position is between $51,800 minimum - $77,700 maximum annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
