The Opportunity

Reporting to the VP Marketing and Technology, the Marketing and Communications Specialist will be responsible for the development and performance of the assigned business units internal/external communications, event management, content creation along with customer and sales support. This individual will work directly with corporate and business unit teams to assist in the fulfillment of the marketing and communication plan as well as assist in evaluating programs against set objectives. This position ensures creative, collaborative, resourceful, strategic, analytical, and project management skills.


In this role you will:

  • Develop, plan, and execute all internal and external marketing and communications campaigns, advertising, collateral, technical documents, newsletters, website, and intranet
  • Manage production and planning of photo and video shoots, as well as media editing
  • Develop and maintain consistent brand standards across all divisions
  • Support the team in bringing new ideas and gathering feedback
  • Provide marketing support to various departments and stakeholder groups
  • Manage a SharePoint/Teams site with all BU marketing and communication material
  • Work cohesively with other members of the events, sales, product, and industry teams (as well as marketing as a whole) to prioritize, plan and execute across a diverse calendar of internal and external events both in-person and online
  • Assist with preparing budgets and provide periodic progress reports
  • Source speakers and content (where applicable), both internally and through our partner and customer network(s)
  • Identify and improve inefficiencies in the current event process, implementing guidelines that will increase outreach and lead generation for all markets for core product marketing groups
  • Manage customer feedback through Voice of the customer analysis (VOC) and Net Promotor Score (NPS)
  • Work with sales and marketing to manage and perfect the sales funnel, generating new leads and optimizing the customer journey across every touchpoint
  • Support the strategy development and execution process in alignment with the division’s higher-level strategic planning process
  • Manage ad-hoc marketing-related requests across the organization


Special skills required:

  • Bachelor’s in marketing, communications, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in managing strategic digital and social media platforms and campaigns with knowledge of developing/executing marketing plans, trade show & event planning/hosting experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft suite and SharePoint, and a familiarity with Adobe suite -video production and editing
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with online and digital platforms, including content management systems and social media
  • Strong communication & writing skills with attention to detail
  • Highly creative, collaborative, able to deal effectively with key stakeholders and team members at all levels
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines when working on a variety of simultaneous projects
  • Must be flexible and comfortable to work remotely or in the office
  • Outgoing personality, entrepreneurial spirit, and passionate learner
