Marketing Analyst, Natural Gas

Purpose:

Crescent Point is looking for a Marketing Analyst, Natural Gas to join our team to support the logistical and commercial efforts of the Natural Gas Marketing team.

What You Will Do:

• Assist with the day-to-day operations on TC Energy, Alliance Pipeline and TransGas systems
• Effectively communicate with internal operations and engineering teams to understand short and long-term gas forecasts and to troubleshoot interruptions
• Support the team with analysis on natural gas transportation economics
• Track CPG’s natural gas transportation commitments
• Maintain and develop supply/demand fundamentals for projects and reports
• Contribute to the review of pipeline and purchaser statements and invoice reconciliation
• Participate in industry committees as required
• Other analytical, reporting and presentation requirements as needed

What You Bring:

• Minimum of two (2) years of related natural gas marketing experience
• Familiarity with pipeline nomination systems, tariffs, and processes on NGTL, TransGas, Alliance, Foothills, and TransCanada Mainline would be an asset.
• Flexible schedule and the ability to be on the on-call rotation for balancing and nominations
• Self-starter, motivated to initiate projects and analyze innovative solutions to business challenges
