Job Summary
We are looking for a full-time manufacturing technologist to expand our manufacturing and product development capabilities. This role would focus on the assembly, production, testing/quality control and packaging of our 3D scanners and accessories to meet customer orders. The candidate should be proficient in assembling complex electronics, optical and mechanical components into a product that exceeds industrial standards. In addition, the candidate would assist in driving the process of bringing products from R&D into production.

Responsibilities

• Assemble sub-assembly and/or final assembly units in a timely fashion
• Solder wires and assembly of cable connections as required
• Manually assemble mechanical and electronic components
• Assembling and testing PCBs for various kinds of electronic modules
• Calibrating and testing optical and mechanical devices
• Do final assembly and/or pack and ship as required
• Resolve manufacturing technical issues
• Maintain the manufacturing space and perform inventory QA
• Work with our engineering team to improve and create new manufacturing standard operating procedures and manufacturing tools
• Build and/or test electro-mechanical assemblies to blueprint and/or oral and written specifications

Requirements

• An eye for detail, and quality
• Electronic component assembly and solid soldering skills
• Troubleshooting and resolve common electronics and mechanical problems
• Good hands-on skills and passion in making things
• Develop and maintain work instructions and SOPs

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
