We’re looking for a…Manager, Retail Lead New to Canada

If you are passionate about work that challenge the status. You have the motivation to take our products to the next level and drive operational excellence. Driven in developing strategies that will increase margins, grow revenue, and reduce churn. This position is for you! You will be accountable for delivering the work that will drive Agile Marketing squad KPIs for churn reduction, base ARPU growth and increasing digital adoption with a balanced view between the front line and business.

What you will do

  • Support from a retail lense, the New to Canada Business Agile Marketing squad
  • Work within a cross-functional team to implement programs that focus primarily on acquisition of newcomers during the early stages of their journey to Canada
  • Responsible for developing/executing programs that deliver on key KPIs including incremental share of Newcomers and acquisition targets across all 3 Wireless Brands and Connected Home

Enabler:

  • Supports Test/Campaign Lead
  • Provides a deep understanding of the customers’ journey in retail
  • Determine best course of action to launch tests in retail with minimal impact to other programs/initiatives & frontline mindshare
  • Support with test sizing, managing change, readiness plans and implementation/delivery support as required
  • Provide feedback and analysis on key traffic drivers to provide areas of focus for driving adoption of new Canadian residents to our product suite

Test & Campaign Lead:

  • Single point of contact for all retail related activities and questions
  • Has end-to-end accountability of delivering customer value in sprint cycles
  • Provide insight on retail process and propose test ideas
  • Own and lead retail tests end to end from defining the hypothesis to estimating the impact to identifying the audience size to creating a test brief to execution
  • Collaborates with members inside & outside of squad to lead and complete assigned tests
  • Develops ad-hoc programs or recommendations with others in or out-of-squad in response to market conditions

Key Projects:

  • Develop acquisition and save gate strategy focusing on key insights from the front line post new platform development
  • Developing a deep understanding of the immigration system and key demographics of Canada, and their key business drivers


What you will bring

  • University or College degree, preferably in Business and/or related field
  • At least 5+ years of experience of Marketing/Brand/Pricing and telecom market experience
  • Exceptional sales and customer orientation, collaboration, adaptability, and initiative experience
  • Data-driven and analytical, able to assess and understand how to leverage and summarize data to improve strategies and performance.
  • Strong business acumen
  • Exceptional communication skills, with high competence to lead presentations.
  • Ability to present information and build relationships at all levels of management
  • Ability to sell ideas/concepts to others through logical and persuasive arguments
  • Self-starter with proven track record of being detailed oriented
  • Highly adaptive demeanor and willingness to be flexible to changing environments and priorities
  • Knowledge of telecommunications industry an asset
