Job Purpose:

Supports the Caribbean, Central America, and Uruguay Portfolio Management Office (CCAU PMO) function in CCAU Finance. The incumbent is responsible for contributing to the goals, plans, and governance of strategic initiatives in the CCAU Portfolio being delivered in support of the Bank and the Region’s business strategies and objectives.


Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Manages reviews of the CCAU Project Portfolio in terms of health, risks, issues, and dependencies across all CCAU countries
  • Supports the implementation and management of portfolio management methodologies by:
    • Promoting skill development for stakeholders to keep the integrity of the PMO Framework
    • Acting as a trusted advisor and liaison to Delivery/Project Managers, as well as teams across International Banking PMO, Wealth Transformation, Real Estate, AML, among others.
  • Actively identifies and addresses change requirements for processes and initiatives to improve CCAU’s portfolio governance and reporting
  • Manages the maintenance and deployment of portfolio management tool (CA PPM) and processes to provide a reliable, controlled environment for project and portfolio reporting, including
  • Supporting internal operational processes required for portfolio integrity (e.g., meta data and financials)
  • Directly contributing to the production of monthly/quarterly portfolio reporting
  • Supports and encourages a customer focused culture across the team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Ensures adherence to IB PMO and Enterprise minimum governance standards
  • Develops day-to-day activities in a manner consistent with the Bank’s risk culture and the relevant risk appetite statement and limits. Communicates the Bank’s risk culture and risk appetite statement throughout the team


Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We’d love to work with you if you have:

  • 2+ years of experience in Finance, Project management, or Banking
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail
  • Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and dynamic environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal for interacting with offices with varying cross cultural and language differences
  • Skilled in Building Strategic Relationships and Customer Focus
  • Desire to work in a hands-on team environment
  • Experience in CA PPM tool is preferred
  • Spanish language fluency is preferred
