What you get to do every single day
  • Regular review and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts owned by Senior Accountant
  • Oversee payroll administrator on payroll processing
  • Oversee Accounts payable coordinator to ensure timely processing of invoices
  • Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
  • Play a key role in the implementation of a new ERP system, which includes system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration
  • Collaborate with FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics, including monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
  • Lead and supervise the accounting team performance during the monthly and annual closing process to ensure close deadlines are met
  • Prepare various technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures
Requirements
  • CPA required
  • 5+ years of recent relevant financial experience
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
  • Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high customer service orientation
  • Full Cycle Accounting experience required
  • Canadian Payroll experience desired
  • Solid technology and analytical abilities
