Canfor’s strength comes from the diversity of ourskilled and resilient workforce. As our company continues to grow and diversify, so do our career opportunities. Let us take this opportunity to tell you how you could be the best fit for Canfor.

You’re a self-directed, self-starter who has excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills. An innate leader, you model by example and have the proven ability to steer employees toward the achievement of business goals, inspire them, drive change, and deliver results.

You are someone who can be counted on to roll up your sleeves and get the job done. You create long lasting partnerships rather than transactions and you excel at the prioritization, organization and execution of projects.

If you are looking for a role you can really “sync” your teeth into, this is it!

As the Manager, IT Data & Analytics, you will develop and maintain a project delivery roadmap for key business functions that includes prioritizing, scoping, and identifying resource requirements and timelines. You will lead your team “bit by bit” as you take charge of the Enterprise Analytics project pipeline & roadmap and establish the framework for the development and deployment of analytics solutions.

Proficient to communicate in both “technology” and “business”, you will initiate and lead discussions with key stakeholders to determine how analytics solutions can accelerate their strategic objectives. You will be an integral part of our transition from legacy systems to a new Business Intelligence platform (MS applications and Azure), so you’ll utilize your ability to positively navigate a myriad of complex changes to navigate through these challenges.

In a perfect world, you have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or specialized training/certification in data analytics. You also have experience with enterprise resource planning, transportation, operational systems and an applied understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts. Project Management experience with a diverse project team will highlight your application but is not needed to apply. Bonus points if you have experience implementing data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau and/or Qlik.

If you are detail-oriented, self-motivated and have excellent analytical, mathematical and creative problem-solving skills, click that “apply” button today!

At Canfor, diversity meansunderstanding, recognizing and valuing the differences that make each person unique. We see inclusion and diversity as an essential part of our productivity, creativity, innovation and competitive advantage. We strive for a fair and equitable recruitment process, where hiring decisions are based on the individual qualifications and experience of each applicant.

We are not your run of the mill forest products company, join us and find out why. #canfortalent
