Maintenance Worker

We are looking for a customer focused maintenance person to join our team.

This is a full-time position and must be able to work flexible hours, days and afternoons, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

• General building maintenance for the hotel and surrounding areas.
• Perform maintenance operations such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and general repairs as per the request of the Maintenance Manager.
• Routine maintenance of pool and hot tub.
• Responding to guest maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Completion of other maintenance projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is a condition of hire.
• 2 years maintenance experience in a similar environment.
• General experience with plumbing, carpentry, electrical, cleaning, painting, HVAC and mechanical issues.
• Competent with hand and power tools.
• Excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a Team oriented environment.
• High level of energy, team player, and positive personality.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests and employees.

This Position has physical requirements:
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced ability for up to 8 hours in length. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and push and pull carts and equipment on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill projects that need to be completed and daily operations.

• Salary/Wage: Ranging from $19.74 - $22.50 per hour, based upon experience
